REMINDER … 30 June: Be Heard networking event – FREE to members

Catch up with your communications colleagues at this networking event over a glass of wine or juice and nibbles.

This month’s discussion topic will be: Measurement - it doesn’t have to be hard or expensive! Led by IABC Wellington Board members Shona Brown and Michael Mead, who will share insights from the recent IABC World Conference in San Francisco.

This event is FREE to members and $20 for non-members (you will be sent an invoice and can pay online or at the door).

NEW … 23 July: Workshop – Getting a seat and a voice at the executive table

Many communications professionals lament lacking access to the top management group. This workshop will provide an insight into the issues senior leaders are thinking about and discussing, the tools and concepts communications managers need to get a grip on if they are to be invited to join the top table, and some ideas for achieving that.

30 July: Be Heard networking event – the social media release

The discussion theme will be about around using the "social media press release" and how reporters and bloggers can use the underlying metadata of the social media release.

This event is FREE to members - $20 for non-members [you will be sent an invoice and can pay online or at the door].

If you’ve been thinking about joining IABC or recently lapsed, there’s an extra incentive to join this month.

July is our member month, meaning IABC will waive the US$40 application fee for new and lapsed members.
